چکیده
The biodegradable and non-toxic Bioflocculants have attracted considerable interest as alternative to non-biodegradable chemical flocculants. However, the cost of fermentation media for bioflocculant production low flocculation efficiency is a major challenge. In this study, we grow Bacillus spp isolated from sediment local clay pot on spoilt orange juice produce bioflocculant. culture supernatant bacilli grown were screen using Jar test method Kaolin suspension model wastewater. effect pH temperature also studied. cations bioflocculation rate produced tested via hybridization with cations. sample wastewaters determined. initially had between 31.1±1.6 % 76.4±1.2% when cultured screening media. Bioflocculation peaked 77.9% at 40 oC while lowest (55.41%) was obtained 25 oC. optimum (about 78%) recorded 6 – 7 highest (84.2%) achieved 96th hour incubation. Na+ Fe3+ serious inhibitory K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ Al3+ less or no up 77.7% 64.5 Kitchen wastewater aquaculture This study reveals potential utilization fermentable substrate especially if conditions parameters are well optimized.

Keratin Production by Decomposing Feather Waste Using Some Local Bacillus spp. Isolated from Poultry Soil
Background; Feather waste is generated in large amounts as a by-product of commercial poultry processing. The main component of feather is keratin. The main purpose of this study was to identify Bacillus spp. (the keratinolytic bacteria) that are able to degrade the feather for producing keratin. Methods; Bacillus spp. Were isolated from the waste of poultries located in Miyaneh city. The bact...
متن کاملAssessment of Bioflocculant Production by Bacillus sp. Gilbert, a Marine Bacterium Isolated from the Bottom Sediment of Algoa Bay
The bioflocculant-producing potentials of a marine bacteria isolated from the bottom sediment of Algoa Bay was investigated using standard methods. The 16S rDNA sequence analysis revealed 98% similarity to that of Bacillus sp. HXG-C1 and the nucleotide sequence was deposited in GenBank as Bacillus sp. Gilbert with accession number HQ537128. Bioflocculant was optimally produced when sucrose (72%...
